Lets Play Ball!
Welcome to the 2019 season of summer softball in Osgoode! Teams and sponsors have been confirmed, and the schedule is now available . Our first scheduled games are Wednesday, May 15th. With the recent rainfall, we’ll be monitoring updates from the city in case they delay the opening of the ball diamonds. If there are any changes we will let you know.
For players who are new to the league this year, you can confirm your team and the schedule from the links highlighted above. Field 1 is the larger field closest to Main St and Field 2 is closer to the arena. Team shirts will be handed out at the first game if they are ready. If you aren’t sure where to go, simply ask anyone walking around with a ball glove and they’ll likely know!
Our team rosters are fairly full for the year. If you missed registration and are interested in playing, contact us and we can let you know if there is any remaining space.
As we did last year, we will continue to have Friends and Family night on the last Wednesday night of every month. On these nights you can bring a friend or family member over the age of 18, who are not in our league to play on your team! There is no fee for them to play on these nights – they just need to sign a waiver. Please let your team captain know in advance so they can confirm their numbers on these nights.
We look forward to seeing everyone on the fields. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.
Who are we?
The Osgoode Recreational 3 pitch league is a non-competitive mixed league, for anyone 30 years+. We play a round robin format throughout the season, but do not track scores or stats. You can find the rules for the league here.
When and where do we play?
The season is from mid May – late August, with a one day tournament on a Saturday (date to be confirmed). During the season, games are played on Wednesday nights at the Osgoode Community Centre. Games are 90 minutes in length starting at either 7pm or 8:30pm depending on the weekly team schedule.
